Jonathan Goldberg is a London-based photographer who graduated from Brighton University. His work addresses issues around sustainable living, such as the Transition Towns movement.
In 2016 and 2013 he was shortlisted for Environmental Photographer of the Year (EPOTY) and won the accolade for Video of the Year for a short film about his local Fruit Harvesting group.
In 2015 he was shortlisted for the Photovoice Award, showing at the Printspace, London. Prior to that Jonathan was commissioned for a photo essay on One Planet Living around Sustainable Transport, which culminated in a high-profile exhibition across a wall at Brighton Train Station.

On March 1st 2010 Transition Heathrow members swooped on an abandoned market garden site in Sipson; one of the villages to be completely tarmacked to make way for a third runway at Heathrow. Their intention was to create a hub for local residents to fight a campaign against the flattening of their houses.
Today Grow Heathrow has evolved into a complex eco-village, and the threat of airport expansion is as real as it was then.
Jonathan will be speaking jointly with Amanda Jackson and reflecting on the similarities of her project based on the Lammas Tir Y Gafel Eco Village based in North Pembrokeshire, mid Wales.
